Lucknow the city of great culture and historical essence located in the heart of Uttar Pradesh is actually my home town and i just love to live here.the ‘tahzeeb’ of this city is awesome which is clearly reflected in it’s language and it’s people.A great mixture of indo-islamic architecture can be seen in the monuments like bara imambara,rumi darwaza,clock tower etc.Not only this we have some very recent tourist spots located here. 1)BARA IMAMBARA

Also known as ASFI MASJID,is an eye capturing monument because of it’s huge architecture.it was built by ASAF-UD-DAULA IN 1784 and till date is one of the beautiful and remarkable monument of Mughal architecture.

2)CLOCK TOWER

It earns the position of being the tallest clock tower in India with a lot of Indian as well foreign tourist every year.Not much away from the Bara Imambara it is an awesome site to visit.

3)JANESHWAR MISHRA PARK

Claimed as Asia’s largest garden.located in gomtinagar it offers a great time spending destination with your family as well as your friends.I have been there many times and it’s really a wonderful place.

4)NAWAB WAJID ALI SHAH ZOO

LUCKNOW ZOO offers a wonderful place to see different variety of animals and birds .the zoo also takes the initiative of protecting a number of species.

5)GOMTINAGAR RIVER FRONT

A great hangout destination for youths and lucknowites .the view of river Gomti is wonderful from this place.during the evening you can see a great number of visitors and young talents.
